The village that soften my heart and allowed to grow closer to the Lord. For the last 10
days we've been in Chhuk where we taught English every day, prayed over the community & helped with the soccer ministry. This time started off honestly kinda disappointing for me, just because we didn't have as much translation as we would have
liked and its hard to evangelize to people you can't speak to. So for that time the Lord really showed me that your actions really do plant seeds. The seed planting process in countries like Cambodia, are just as important as the harvest. Statistically here it takes 7 years to win someone into the kingdom of heaven out of Buddhism. For me this is such a hard concept I'm growing in because I just want the Khemr people to get ahold of the gospel. However half way through the week with the youth English class we saw the breakthrough we had been
praying for. We gathered the youth in a circle and instead of class we just got to know them and hear about their lives. We found out that almost every family that the youth came from were Buddhist. But another thing each of the kids said was that their family was Buddhist but they didn't know why they were, they didn't believe in Buddha ORRR that they had heard about God and they wanted to know more because they have seen him do things good for other people! This night marked our team because that was just a testimony to all the teams that have been here, that what they started (the seed planting) had started to grow. Following the week we taught on identity out of Psalm 139 and Gods plan from testimonies and Jeremiah. We
shared more than "God created you" but that he has searched them and knows them, that he thinks about us as much as there are grains of sand, that he has been INVESTED in us before the earth was even formed.
Though out my time in Chuck the Holy Spirit showed me that:
Focus mor eon what's in front of me
You can read things many times but until you apply it, you won't remember it
Rely on the Holy Spirit and he will do the work of coming up with creative ideas
Even when you see no fruit, the seeds are still growing underground
You are TURLY generous when you give/ share all that you have, even though you don't have anything
My heart❤️❤️❤️
