Community.

"Things change, people change, feelings change too." - Song lyrics I used to HIGHLY identify with... I've gone trough the process of learning some people are just in your life for a season & I have people I've been close with for 10 years. Knowing some people are only meant for a season and still wanting to love and grow closer to them has always been difficult for me though. But observing that and making decisions out of offense, hurt or even sadness can really damage future relationships.

As opposed to learning, seeing what the word says, processing and actively finding a way to bring more life is how I rather go about it now. Right now in life I am living in community with people that I know for a fact I will never see again in just 3 weeks! *que the sad violen music*

Part of me (my flesh) wants to say don't open up, don't love, don't trust because it will just hurt more when we all separate.

But if you read last week, this "theme" of sacrificial, painful love has really been speaking to my heart. Meaning opening up and trusting would be so limited if it was only for people that would be around for however long I thought was "long enough". A life lived to try to keep people around becomes so limiting, why not get as close to every heart that you meet? Why not give love to everyone, we are all called to after all.

"No one should try to do what will help only himself. He should try to do what is good for others" - 1 Corinthians 10:24.

When we look at life like this the joy of knowing peoples hearts not only makes our lives more full but shows us the father in a way too. If you try you can see the Lord in all of his creation.

It all reflex who he is, the billions of stars, how the little ants work together and the funny, quirky parts of yourself. I encourage you to take this week and be truly intentional in listening & asking more deep questions! Every word & every action should have the goal of giving life.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” – Revelation 4:11

Little about me!

I am from a little beach town in FL, but currently doing a YWAM School in Mexico! I love capturing what's going on in the nations and am learning to know the creative heart of God. Hoping the words or pictures bless you in some sort of way and moves your heart closer to the true creator!
