ATTENTION Major life update, I'm not in the 850, Spicy Grove or College! Out of

obedience I'm in Mexico...Tijuana area at missions school! I am at YWAM (youth with a mission) and if you don't know what that is, I didn't either until very recently...keep reading!

There are thousands of YWAM bases all over the world where young (and old) people are in classes being discipled for 3 months. Different speakers will come teach, we have work duties, a local ministry we work with, lots of worship and lotttss of community. After those 3 months we will be separated and sent out to practice what we have been learning and spread the gospel to the nations for 2 months.

You may be wondering how I got here? I'm so glad you asked! Besides it being a complete God set up, my leaders said we had to write about it (and btw I have the BEST leaders). If you know me in the smallest way you know my time in Jamaica has probably come up in conversation.

Last summer while I was serving in Spicy Grove, Jamaica I was heavily praying about what was after high school. At a young age I knew my heart was for the nations after a mission trip to South Africa (shout out to my dad), I thought maybe bible school was the answer...however I also have a passion for photography, and I really could never find something that could give me both. But last summer someone very dear to me asked if I've ever heard of YWAM, I hadn't so I looked up the website. I found all of the tracks they offered and photo-storytelling being one them I instantly knew this is where I was supposed to be.

So far I've met soooo many new people, from so many countries too! Saying I've been here for 3 weeks feels unreal. For a while I couldn't figure out how I've got so close with so many strangers,then I realized most of us are here for a pretty common purpose. So being around like minded people was the answer to my question. Which actually is a pretty amazing thing for me because before coming here I only had a handful of friends that were "kingdom minded". I'm living in a dorm with 7 other girls and basically have a church service 3 times a week in addition to the Bible classes every day. Its been a little hard being here at times and not being with my family and being with them for the things going on back home. But God has truly been comforting me in every situation.

Here in 3 weeks I've heard Gods voice more frequently than ever. In lecture we've talked about Hearing the Voice of God and the Father Heart of God. Through these classes I've got revelation that things in my past really were God trying to communicate with me and now I am even more aware of how he personally speaks to me! I've never been in an environment where your job and responsibility is to know God more and here that concept has already been life changing.

Setting time apart to form a relationship and hear from God has been so exciting. I came here hoping that being around the speakers and all around atmosphere would heal some areas of my life but really my reading and praying to God has been all the restoration I was looking for.

Romans 12:2 talks about the perfect will of God and that's exactly where I feel that I'm at for this season. I'm excited for the weeks to come and ready to see how God will work!
